Senior Commodity Specialist – Essex - Ł50k plus benefits Essentially you will have strategic sourcing experience and a track record of being involved with cost saving projects plus excellent project management skills. Responsible for a spend of circa $25-$50 million; you will have demonstrable experience in either indirect procurement, project management, market development, process engineering and/or product development. Strong communication and negotiation skills will enable you to structure and negotiate contractual agreements, and communicate effectively with stakeholders across all shared service functions and Pan European business units. Your previous experience will enable the identification and implementation of cost savings projects to reduce company SG&A expenses utilizing strategic sourcing techniques and procurement best practices. Responsible for the development and ongoing management of commercial relationships for assigned spend categories, you will establish a preferred supplier base and insure on time delivery of goods and services to meet the needs of the business. Personally you will need the ability to develop contract framework/business agreements and have a thorough knowledge of intellectual property law.
